All About Mrs. Schrote
This is my 31st year of teaching and working at Chapman Elementary. I received my undergraduate degree in education from Baldwin Wallace College. I am licensed to teach elementary education in grades kindergarten to eight. I also have an education of handicapped license to teach students in grades K to 12. I began my teaching career as a special education teacher at Chapman and continued in that position for fourteen years. I received my master's degree in counseling and served as a guidance counselor for Strongsville City School for seven years at Chapman and Zellers Elementary. I was a third grade teacher at Chapman for two years and will be beginning my eigthth year as a fourth grade teacher. At home, I have twenty-one year old twins that are in college. My son is a business and finance major at University of North Carolina Wilmington. My daughter is Mount Union nursing major. I also have an 13 1/2 year old dog named Chloe. She is a red long-haired miniature dachshund. I love to travel! This summer I took a trip to North Carolina to bring my son home from college.
